I print a label for the back of the base. Heer 1/1 SL The above is 1st squad, 1st figure SL is Squad Leader. Heer stands for German Army. 2nd Squad would be Heer 2/1 SL, Heer 2/2 LMG, Heer 2/3 Asst LMG. If I want to put in the platoon it would be 3 numbers PLT/SQUAD/Figure. Company would be 4. Either 3/2/1/4 for 3rd Coy, 2nd Platon, 1st Squad, 4th figure or A/3/2/3 GL for A Company, 3rd Platoon, 2nd Squad, 3rd figure w/Grenade Launcher. I then color code the labels using a colored highlighter. You can use up to three colors. White is no color. For example 3/2/1/4 might be WHITE/RED/GREEN which would be no color, red, green. The color coding is there to allow the players and me to quickly determine which squad is which, and for me to easily sort the figures. Vehicles aren't based, but they have either a turret number, individual name, or a hull number or marking on them to set them apart. TG |

Do you use a color code on the base of your figures? For instance, to keep track of which figures are in the same units and sub-units? |
