WHAT! The Green Berets did not make the final list? Darn you all to that hot place South of Georgia! I voted but did not see the choice of "all of the above but LOTR" I would vote against Zulu as well. Too much of a Brit slant to the voting here

Favorite (not best) war movie. I have at least ten I love, but I was watching The Green Berets again last night with some old friends. We put away about ½ a bottle of single malt scotch and talked about how close the movie was to the way the group was when we were young pups in SF. Really was not bothered by the hype in the film, but the undertone of the film really hit home about how we were in the day. (These movies received top votes in a previous poll.) |
