When I was 10 we lived next door to a family where the son was just under a year older than me and the daughter was 6 months younger. He got me into airfix plastics and Roco vehicles and we would fight battles with rules of his devising until we got a copy of Tractics. She and I were a pair until they moved after their father got a job in another city. A year after that, first big driving trip was to drive down to visit them. |
