I recently asked for some information from The Miniatures Page membership while doing research on my Arab/Israeli troops (15mm – I Ain't Been Shot, Mum rules). When looking for which board to post my message to, the only option was "Modern".

Now, a conflict that took place in 1967 (41 years ago) hardly seems modern to me. I was born in the 60's and I don't feel "modern" at all. Trust me, my back lets me know it on a regular basis.

To look at a conflict that took place 41 years ago as a "Modern" conflict is like a person in 1941 calling the Boer or Boar War a modern conflict. Time marches on.

Most of the stuff that was used in the '50's, ‘60's, ‘70's and even 80's is in museums now.

My suggestion is for a new board. Don't freak. The board would be for anything related to the Cold War period. "Cold War" Board : basically from 1950 to 1990.
