I tried it recently and the spelling and typos really bothered me more than I expected (especially since I am terrible at such things). I might buy it if a specific issue had something that really interested me. Unfortunately for them, I doubt that's a situation that will help them much. I'm sure for magazines like this to do well, they need a solid foundation of subscribers. Maybe back in the day I would have subscribed out of a sense of goodwill for the hobby but those days are past. How hard is it to find an english speaking person to proofread things? It wouldn't take anyone special, just someone who would actually read the articles as the errors are very easily found. |
