Which of these logos are suitable for the new "honorary lifetime" Knight TMPlar members? You may vote for up to five. | |
Logo #1 | This image represents the original shield of the Order of the Temple. So I think the TMPlar Knights should wear this shield to show their honorific status. |
|---|---|
Logo #2 | While generally reflective of the quaint TMP logo, this icon adds just a hint of elite status by identifying the owner as a TMPlar. Heady, but with a piquant aftertaste. |
Logo #3 | The classic simplicity of the famous "T" red cross on white of the Knights Templar, coupled with the letters MP added denoting "member prestigious", or TMP for short. What more could you ask for to commemorate a lifetime of prestigious and distinguished gaming? |
Logo #4 | This logo represent the simple approach. A traditional shield bearing the Knights Templar Cross, to link the symbolism and play on words of "TMPlar." The laurel represents an achievement or honor being bestowed, as in the ancient Olympics in Greece. The variants of this are to present the logo in different highlights and shading. Again, I wish good luck to all and do not envy your task. |
Logo #5 | I believe my logo exhibits the qualities inherent in achieving the status of a Knights TMPlar. The Helm is a symbol of the Knight that best represents the achievement of a distinguished member status. The crosses in the background is not so much a representation of religion, but that of faith and steadfastness - in this case, to our hobby. The combination also links back historically to the Knights Templar, a linkage that must be maintained in the logo. Various color schemes are more a matter of preference. Should you select my logo, I would be honored. Should you chose another's, my hat's off to them. Either way, I do not envy your task. Good luck! |
Logo #6 | This is the same logo as for supporting and sponsoring members, but with a red/white colour scheme reminiscent of the Templars. |
Logo #7 | It's simple, elegant and plays off the the Templars' heraldry (a red cross on a white field). |
Logo #8 | This logo represents the simple approach. A traditional shield bearing the Knights Templar Cross, to link the symbolism and play on words of "TMPlar," The laurel represents an achievement or honor being bestowed, as in the ancient Olympics in Greece. The variants of this are to present the logo in different highlights and shading. Again, I wish good luck to all and do not envy your task. |
Logo #9 | I like the consistency of having similar logos for the various levels of support offered to TMP, with only the colours changing (except, of course for our illustrious leader, the man with the fez). I was thinking red would be good because it seems to be a fairly templar-ish colour, but I gave it a touch more purple to indicate this highest honour in TMPland. |
Logo #10 | I think it fits the title. A templar cross with a knight piece, since chess was probably the first "tabletop" played with "miniatures"... |
