I asked myself, "What is the purpose of this icon?" The answer was, "To identify sponsoring members who are also paid advertisers on TMP." This implied that *something* about the image should indicate to even a newbie that the member in question represents a *business*, and not just a fancier level of supporting member. In the first round, I saw several that implied this. In this second round, I only saw one: Daddy Warbucks (which I found rather amusing). So I only voted for it. Most of the other icons are very nice, but they didn't seem to meet the criteria set by my question. I'll be interested in seeing what pops up in further polls. |

Jakar Nilson's Daddy Warbucks Icon | Design by Jakar Nilson Another of the ideas I had was Daddy Warbucks (from Little Orphan Annie) as the sponsor icon. Well, he did make his money selling millitary items, as do the sponsors (even though they are scaled-down representations); he likes little people, as do the sponsors (and the members of TMP); and he's helped out those less fortunate than he, just like the sponsors make Bill's life less troublesome.
