AvP is good because it is really three-sided with humans making a temporary alliance. Temporarly alliances that can melt down during the game is always a good time. AvP Requiem is A vs P vs rural Colorado. The movie is panned sometimes for being too much action and gore and too little compelling human story. I think compelling human (or at least some sentient species) story needs to be a part of a wargame scenario, but having less of that makes it easier to game for a fast, tactical grinder. |
