"I liked the two Warhammer video games a lot as well, but nothing compares to playing a game with a live opponent. I've never understood why anyone would want to focus only on the solitude of computer gaming (if given a choice, that is)." I would prefer to play a game with another person but sometimes that isn't possible. The nearest game playing folks are about 2 hours away from me so I usually play video games. "The key here is that there has never been a direct port of the game to the computer. One whose mechanics worked the same. Which allowed for playing other people across the Internet. If there was one of those, I'd definitely play it more than I play the tabletop game. Simply because the game is then one I already enjoy and know." I wish they would do something like this. |
