I have never been accused of being a fuddy-duddy - generally because I'm out doing something or the other so I'm usually out of earshot. I'll pick up a new game (although not as often as before), I don't have a set "period" that I game, and I've got too many expensive hobbies that either have me e-baying, or saving up for a new sword or piece of armor. That said, my wife could legitimately call me a fuddy-duddy if she so chose - she's the one that plays around with nuclear weapons, throws herself out of functional aircraft (even tho it almost killed her twice) and is going to help the 12-year-old make a hologram for this years science project. The only reason she hasn't yet is that she's busy doing needlepoint at the moment. Wyatt |

On another internet forum, one of our regulars writes: TMP is a denizen for a lot of Fuddy-Duddies. They really like their Anti-GW rants (and hate the fact their they have them at least once a week!) They also like to bash anything and everything over there. As [someone else] put it, it's a place best visited for the News of the Hobby, and not its forum community.
According to one dictionary, the term Fuddy Duddy means "bore, dullard, stuffed shirt." So - are you a Fuddy Duddy? |
