Hmm....if I knew all the players involved, I'd probably be okay with letting other people use my minis. If I don't, then hell no! Recent threads have indicated the apparently high number of drinkers that wargame; I would prefer not to let someone I've never met before use my figures that took me HOURS to paint while at the same time diving into a case of beer. As Tim Marshall said when he mentioned the rigging on a Langton ship mini, there's just too much potential for things going wrong, and I'd rather not take that chance. I spend a lot of time painting my figures to a moderately high standard, I would be very upset if that time and effort was wasted by someone damaging the army. |

Imagine that your gaming buddy is organizing a gaming tournament. His proposal is that all players will contribute an army to the competition pool. Each round, players will randomly draw to see which army they will use (except for the final round, when each uses the army he brought). Would you play in such a tournament? |
