| POLL DESCRIPTION |
As you may or may not remember, when you set up your TMP membership, you also set up which zones of interest you want to see on the homepage. So, for instance, if you don't have an interest in science fiction, you can turn off the science fiction zone in your preferences, and science fiction news stories won't show up on your TMP homepage any more.
Ah, but there is a complication: what about news stories or items which might span several categories? For instance, a news story about Victorian Science Fiction is theoretically in both the science fiction and 19th century historical zones. However, if I tag the news item as in both categories, then the person who wants "no science fiction" but has an interest in colonial wargaming will see the story anyway...
So - how would you like to see VSF items categorized at TMP?
(Assuming, for the moment, that it's not possible to give VSF a zone of its own. And also assuming that we don't include the WWI zone even though the Victorian era does run slightly into the 20th century...) |
