| POLL DESCRIPTION |
When painting 25mm or 28mm scale figures, which best describes the level of detail you use to paint your figures?
(Poll suggested by David Allen.) |
drybrush over primer | I drybrush basic uniform color over primer, that's it!
highly detailed | I usually paint uniform insignia, eyes, teeth, buttons, belt buckles, facial hair, boot laces, complex heraldry, etc.
base and highlight | I paint the figure in the basic colors, then highlight by drybrushing.
extremely detailed | If it exists on the actual subject, I paint it!
base and wash | I paint the figure in the basic colors, then use a wash or dip technique.
some detailing | In addition to a basic paint job, I usually paint straps, rucksacks, backpacks, gun barrels, cartridge belts, boots, etc. in the appropriate colors.
spray-painted | I just spray paint my figures a single color and I'm ready to play.
unpainted | I play with unpainted figures.
base, wash, and highlight | I use highlighting and wash techniques over the basic colors.
