Well Tim, the peoples of Central and South America were essentially Stone/Bronze Age cultures. So I assume that a case could be made that they were unique for the period Of course the conquistadors weren't unique for the period, so the putative Inca boards would have to be subdivided into Pre- and Post-European contact
