| POLL DESCRIPTION |
As a result of the molding and casting process, miniatures have the potential to have visible seams. The older a mold gets, the more likely seams are to show.
How do you handle seams? |
remove all seams | I remove all seams on a model, even if they are in difficult places (such as the face or hair).
remove most seams | I remove most of the seams on a model, even if they are in hard-to-reach places.
remove worst seams | I only remove the largest, most visible seams.
hide with paint | A good paint job can conceal most seam problems.
remove easiest seams | I remove all of the seams which are practical to remove, but don't worry about minor or inaccessible seams.
ignore them | I don't care or worry about seams.
avoid seams | I don't purchase figures if they have noticeable seams.
