POLL DESCRIPTION

Magnetic basing involves either basing figures on magnets, or lining the storage shelf with magnets. It serves two (possible) purposes:

  1. improved safety in storage (the magnets secure the figures in place)
  2. easier rebasing of figures (you can attach and remove figures from a movement base during play)

Do you use magnetic basing for any of your figures?

yes - on steel

I mount my figures on steel or a similar material, then line my storage area with thin magnetic sheets.
