Coelacanth says... I have seen a lot of pre-Napoleonic naval topics going into the general 18th Century Discussion board. Maybe some of these topics bleed over into the Pirates and Napoleonic Naval boards as well. I feel that they should have a proper home. I propose a "Sailing Navies c. 1500-1750" board. This is an important era, during which the sailing ship evolved from an armed troopship into a well-formed weapon system. Surely it deserves to be represented on the boards. Should we add a new board? |
