For someone like myself stuck in the very rustic, beautiful, hinterlands of Western North Carolina ( The BIG city of Asheville), I find both versions fantastic! I read the RPG version for ideas. I read the Gaming version, as a gamer (who works constantly on converting rule-sets for solitaire playability). I do not mean any offense when I say this but a lot of you people are spoiled and do not know how lucky you have it- in terms of having Clubs(very active), Historical Stores(dedicated to Historical gaming only), and Conventions (in some area's two times a year!!!). Bottom line, I have to drive 5 hours or more just to find a rack half full of Gaming mags and quarterlies ( most used trade-ins). I'm grateful to the fine people at Mongoose for the offerings. Please excuse if this sounds like a rant- its not. |
