I put all the money I can away for my kids into real investments. $3 USD airplanes are for me to play games with! I clip off the landing gear. After a few (mostly unsuccessful) tries to fit the gear doors into the bays, I have given up and just cut them off and throw them in a box in most cases. You really cannot see the bottoms enough to matter, even if using a stand that allows you to set them up in the air ro show altitude. I agree about their "dogfight" packaging. Some odd decisions in there and way too many Me-262's. At least they are coming out with the much needed P-47s. Brian |

The 1:144 scale pre-painted aircraft from 21st Century Toys come with a box, stand, and (often) extra parts such as bombs and drop tanks. How much do you keep? |
