| POLL DESCRIPTION |
John the OFM opines:
I am willing to make a small concession on this.
If making them invisible, with no statistics kept or shown, is the only way to shut up the crybabies and anti-bedwetter brigade, so be it.
Put it in a Poll. I will vote against it, but will probably lose. Life will go on.
I use them. My profile shows me that 64 accounts have stifled me. Big deal. I have also stifled 39 accounts.
Perhaps, if these were only visible to me, it might placate the insecure types who insist that every stupid thing they write is sacred, and that all must read them.
But, keep the stifle functon. Keep it, because it would not be fair to those who have taken the effort to shut me up to suddenly have to put up with me again. I can live with their not wanting to read me.
And I also want the option to roll my window up and look away from the drooling lunatics who insist that I must hear what they have to say. Not only is what they have to say annoying, they smell bad too. |
