Personally, I find there is an incredible underdevelopment in this area of gaming. I've seen great-looking demo games, but very few - if any - half-decent rules… I'm thinking not only sieges as such, but all kind of fortifications-storming games.

These games are visually very appealing, in my opinion, and could be lot of fun if done properly. Problem is, most seem to approach this in terms of 'I stay behind the fortified lines and throw things at you', and 'You line up in front of it throwing things back'… now that's boring as hell, but that's not the way things should be, or even the way they were, in my honest opinion… what do you think?
