Grape Ape wonders...

Most enjoyable Victorian army? Obviously a subjective question. No right or wrong answers.

For me, it is the French Foreign Legion. Romance-wise, they leave the British in the dust, and really colorful Beau Geste style scenarios are the norm.

My number two, for a very different reason - extreme versatility - would be the British Naval Brigade.
