For me, a miniatures game is a pile of cool stuff and your imagination which you combine with some sleight of hand and voila! a game! A boardgame is a prepackaged deal, sort of like a TV dinner, no matter the nature of the contents. It's all been done for you. Now there are extremes and exceptions (like the awesome Space Hulk), but I'd say generally there is a difference. |
