It's a truth universally acknowledged that a Zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains.
Never was this truth more plain than during the recent attacks at Fort Arkwright… in which a household of eighteen was slaughtered and consumed by a horde of the living dead.
Derbyshire, Central England, 1820. It is known as 'the strange plague', and its unfortunate victims are referred to only as 'Unmentionables' or 'Dreadfuls'. The dead are rising again and whilst Britain's generals and admirals are still fighting the Corsican Tyrant, the aristocracy have taken it upon themselves to forswear fox-hunting and instead devote their lives to mastering the deadly arts in order to cleanse the world.
The risks are great, the rewards sometimes greater – from the appreciative nod of thanks from their lowly tenant farmers for another day of relative safety, to the renown of their great battles and boasting rights to all that will listen at the next social ball.
Will you be the one to tell the tales of your hunt' days of zombie slaughter, or will you end up merely as the next serving of brains for the Unmentionables?
