and just cause I am interested int his stuff, I called a friend who has a bigger collection of manuals, and there is no mention of them in rifle unit FMs up to 1949 (to include all the changes). And in 1949 the company T/0 changed making the question moot.

Charlie, come in! Where are you?

A light machinegun has your squad pinned down. Two of your men have gone out of the fight, and the rest are ducked down in cover. All hell's breaking loose, and everyone is looking to you for the answer. Right about now, you're wondering what the heck you've gotten yourself into.

Welcome to Able, Baker, Charlie!

The Able

Able, Baker, Charlie were the call signs for the soldiers when the squad was broken down into smaller teams. It helped identify them on the radio, and helped keep them alive. Now, that's your job! Able, Baker, Charlie! is WWII squad-level combat at its best. No flipping a card to see who moves first or telling you when to shoot. Instead, we use the Two Hour Wargames Reaction System, top of the line since 2005. How your squad performs, if they survive, and if they achieve their missions is up to you.

Check it out here.

Inside, you'll find:

  • 140 color counters (70 double sided) representing American, British, German and Russian Squads with LMGs as well.
  • Two color Battle Boards to do your fighting on.
  • Rules that are quick and easy to learn yet give realistic results.
  • A complete Campaign system that tie your Missions together.
  • Start your tour of duty as a Private, Jr. NCO or NCO and lead your own Squad.
  • Rise in Rank as you have successful Missions.
  • All this and much more.

Able, Baker, Charlie! is designed to build a Story, your Story! Now pack up, soldier, you ship out today!
