Polls

There are polls on TMP?

Yes. You can see the current polls on the homepage, in the left sidebar.

Who can vote?

Anyone who was a member of TMP prior to the start of that particular poll.

Where can I find the finished polls?

Right here.

But these poll results aren't scientific.

No, they're just for entertainment.

What is someone cheats and uses multiple accounts?

If it's a major poll - such as a contest poll - I check the logs to try and catch cheaters. Fortunately, cheaters are pretty rare here.

Do you take suggestions for new polls?

All the time! To suggest a poll, just start a new topic on the Poll Suggestions board in the forums.

What if I've been bad?

You have to be a TMP member in good standing in order to have your poll suggestion make it as an actual poll.

Is there a reward for making a poll suggestion?

If your suggestion is used, you receive a bonus month of Supporting Membership.

Poll Prizes

What are Poll Prizes?

Occasionally, TMP will randomly select someone who has voted in a current poll, and announce their name in the Editorial section of our homepage. They then have 24 hours (or longer on a weekend) to PM the Editor and claim their prize.

Can I win more than one Poll Prize?

You can win as often as the server randomly selects you!

I'm a manufacturer. Can I sponsor a poll prize?

Yes - simply send the Editor a dozen or more $10 USD (or equivalent) gift certificates.
