For any manufactures, her are the models I'ld like to see: —Russian motorcycle riders. Most of their organizations had motorcycle platoons for recon. Why can't I get these in 28mm??? (You micro armor guys take note of this too — I'm tired of using Germans for Russian Motorcycles). —Early war russians with Grenade launchers on their rifles. (issued in great numbers before the war, not effective and withdrawn early 42, but there none-the-less). —Russian (and German) Engineers (not flame throwers. Guys with wire cutters, wire reels, explosive packs, laying mines, digging, etc. or at least packs of Engineer supplies than I could convert my own. Bolt action is half way there with the Germans). —Early war Germans with anti-tank rifles (yes, they had them). —Horse drawn wagons for Russians and Germans. I'm sure others on the list will add more. |

Doesn't Black Tree do a 251 in 1/50 (1/48)? I don't know what model it is. In 1/56 you can get the A version from AGN (shave the side gun ports to make a B or C) C versions from West Wind (1/60) and KHI. KHI also has a D version coming out. |

Chris, I second that: Early Germans with A/T rifles Mechanics for that 'rescue the tank scenario', heck could even be a pack of guys in overalls with seperate heads so they could be Germans, Russians, Brits or whatever. Kneeling with bolt cutters, spanners, working jack, open handed for changing out tracks or wheels, sitting having a smoke or a bottle of 'found' wine or even cooking up a turnip for lunch. Tank crew running for cover (overalls with seperate heads also) without an arsenal of weapons tucked under their arms. As you say one or two figs show promise, some nice tank crew from BAM, some nice Russians from BTD cooking and a NZ company (Alpha) did a good German field kitchen. Ahhh James, those 251/D's, I really wish I could help but there is just so little commitment in that 1/48-1/50th area. Need about 100 vehicles to make it a worthwhile project. Must be available from Wespe, Gasoline or Quarter Kit. Would even be convertable from old Bandai 251/B. Cheers Tony |

Tony, I got my order from you yesterday. I've already put them all together. The Pz IIIs are real beauties, so are the Panhards. Wish I had had more cash. The T-28s were very tempting. Chris |

Victory Force has German Pioniere that fit your request already. Plus there is a history with VFM of listening to the customers wishes and doing minis they ask for. Right now there is a "competition" running on their Yahoo mailing list where anyone can enter their favourite WWII photo(s) of a single soldier and in the end the list members will vote on the one that gets done. I think you should check VFM out
your chances are far better there then they are here! Cheers, Burkhard dhc-wargames.de |

My personal wish list would be: Early war Brit tanks for the desert and the fall of France. More artillery – a Lefh 18 105mm howitzer or something Italian. I won't hold my breath for a 18/25lber with Dragon tow. An Autoblinda AB41, SU 76 or Hellcat would be nice
Guy PS: Battle honours does a reasonable German anti tank rifle in 25mm. |

I second a German 10.5 cm gun and how about making crews for the Afrika Korps, Standard German Army and with great coats for it. In 1/56 scale, not 1/48 or 1/60, but 1/56 scale German Wespe, Tiger I, Tiger II and Panther tank. Germans with ski's. Germans in a mix and match of weapons and uniform pieces. In a scruffy dress condition which would have occurred either at Stalingrad or late war when falling back from the Russian front. |

I have published this list some monthes ago at this forum but because you asked again this is my list for 28mm fallschirmjaegers again: 2,8 cm Panzerbuechse 41 this is the one with wheels not the handheld Panzerbuechse 38 or 39 like the one of the Foundry Figures. 8,8 cm Raketenwerfer 43 the so called Pueppchen 7,5 cm Leichtgeschuetz 40 or LG 40 (75mm -Airborne Recoilless Gun LG 40) airdropping or Fallschirmjaeger Supply Container to sell them seperately (Foundry made those but unfortunately do not sells them seperately). Panzer Lehr done right! Panzer wraps with litzen, helmet covers, regular infantry gear on top with lots of good MG poses (at least 6) so you can do a proper Panzgren platoon with 6 different LMG teams (2 per squad). Plus support. Now imagine these beauties with KHI's 251 D's! Now you can do all of the major Normany battles where this unit showed up they way they were MEANT to be done. I still can't believe no one has done this unit in 28mm yet. They were so important in the campaign, and they had such a distinct uniform for their Panzgrens
also FJ in tropical gear. And a 105mm so all those 101st fans can finally do a proper Brecourt. Personally, I was never very obsessed with the BoB series, but I do love looking at the various Brecourt games that show up at the cons. Panzer IV H, Panther, Tiger I & II, and Hetzer in 1/56th. |

Hmmm, alot of those Marines and Japanese troops listed are definately on our upcoming schedule. Tojo may make an appearance as well! We also have some nifty special figs coming out for the PAC WAR. Suicide anti-tank troops (why carry a mine when a Navy gun shell works just as well) and definately will have a Marine with a wrench. What he's used for, you'll need to wait and see. Lessee: 1) 1940 French one-horse infantry caisson/limber for the 25mm ATG. 2) 47mm 34SA Puteaux antitank gun (Germans used over 400 of these during Barbarossa; they hit harder than the 3.7 cm Pak 36 "Doorknocker"). 3) Proper Senegalese Tirailleurs in suitably aggressive poses for North Africa. 4) Italian Sahariana recce car and crew, preferably with 20mm Breda AAA gun. 5) Italian Bersaglieri. 6) US Nisei GIs. 7) Japanese paratroppers. 8) Netherlands East Indies Dutch and native troops. 9) Norwegians. I'm working on British versus Germans in North Africa. I have almost all the German Vehicles I'll need for Tobruk and for the later scenarios. I still need at least two Marder III's. I'll need several unavailable tanks for the British, including Matildas and Valentines. The scale I use is 1/50 Solido or Corgi (Or 1/48 Tamiya) I have great hopes that Tamiya will release some of these "missing links". Gaso.Line a few Italian Tanks at one time, but I don't think anyone has aline today. As for the figures both Old Glory and Artizan have a nice line for The 8th Army, The Afrika Korps and the Italians. The one area that is lacking is the undersupplied a underdressed brits at tobruk. If I could find shirtless men, in shorts, I could do the conversions I need. Is a Bofors AA available in 28mm? |
