Hi,

Does anyone sell 28mm bicycles that are suitable for display? I happen to be in need of a 28mm mountain bike (female version) for a small diorama I'm doing.

If I'm looking at Railway/Doll supplies, what scale should I be hunting for? O-scale?

Cheers

I got a few bicycles from Michael's craft stores at Christmas. They have old fashioned Schwinn types in their Christmas Village sets made by Lemax.
You can cut the bar away to make a girl's bike. They are plastic, and you may have to make a few mods to make it look like a mountain bike.
They come in a pack with a large bike for the adults (40 mm?) m, and two smaller kid's (28mm) bikes.

Foundry also makes Home Guard riding bicycles in the WW2 range. A civilian pack in the same range has a woman holding a bike upright, but not riding it.

Forgot to mention that I'm in the UK.

Lemax is Australian, I think. Google "lemax Christmas" and see what you get.
