Well, since I am a soloist living in the wilderness, I am pretty much 50-50

Solo its 50-50, but at conventions lost more than won but good time every time

I win all of my games, and you'll never find the body of anyone who might testify otherwise.

But seriously: I'm much more interested in narrative than victory. A steamroller is a much less interesting story than an underdog defying fate, a superhero stepping on a rake, a difficult strategem carried off despite the dangers and the flaws, etc.

I'm also a GM more often than a player.

I have been called the "darling child of victory" and "a wolf among sheep," so I guess I've done well.

How do you define winning?
If refighting an actual battle, if you do better than the commander you are playing in my view you have won.
