On Saturday, April 13th, I hosted a Mein Panzer game at Imperial Outpost my local FLGS in Glendale, AZ.

I had 2 players for the game, Matt W. and Jeffrey M. Matt had played in the game I hosted last October but Jeffrey had never played.

The scenario was set in North Africa in 1942 between the British and the Germans. The main geographical objectives were the village crossroads and the 4 hilltops with points also awarded for knocked out and brewed up tanks.

We played through 4 turns in less than 2 hours when it was determined that the Germans definitely had the upper hand.
Both players enjoyed the game and I opened things up for some constructive criticism after the game to tweak the scenario for next game on April 27th.

I kept the scenario simple giving each player a reduced tank company of 3 platoons each to work with. The tanks were Panzer IIIs vs. Crusader IIs which are fairly evenly matched as far as characteristics go in Mein Panzer. No "super" tanks on either side.

Here are a few pictures.

Very nice Pete. Your terrain is always evocative and well done. Thanks for sharing.

Good show Pete, and continued success with the scenario tomorrow.

(btw, it all looks great, and is a nice gift for any lucky players)
