What the heck?!
So I'm at Little Wars and a guy walks up and says "Are you on TMP?"
"Yes I am." I say.
"Are you Bill Armintrout? The guy that runs it?" He asks me.
"No…no I am not." I say as I show him my badge to confirm my identity.
"Oh." He says and walks away.
Has anyone else ever been asked this?

If you save your money, and work really hard, maybe someday you can be Bill if you really put your mind to it.

I've never seen Murphy and Bill at the same time, so it's possible that you are Bill and don't know it.

I seem to remember someone making TMP themed name badges for a con so TMPers could spot each other.

You can say you're not Bill, but can you prove it?

For that matter, Bill SAYS he's Bill, but he never produces any supporting evidence.

Well, I can't speak for the rest of you, but my name badge at conventions always has my TMP handle.
