"Even the idea of "fake news" being a relatively new phenomenon is, well, fake news. Our country was founded on fake news, and our first president—well, first-ish, but we'll get to that later—had so much fake news written about him…" link Armand |

Re: #25 – what part of SOLO does the author not understand? And many of these "lies" were misunderstandings of the ill-educated, while others are old chestnuts trotted out by ill-informed critics for decades. |

And, like many modern "fact check" articles, there are several errors in what they are saying is the truth! |

I am dumber for having scanned that stupid article. Columbus discovered America in the sense that after his voyages America became widely known to Europeans. Yes, the Vikings were here, no one disputes that, even the Chinese were likely along the West Coast. The Indians did not evolve here, they walked or sailed here but they became a sort of "lost" people in that they did not maintain communication with the Old World. This is a terrible article. Like almost every item on the list #21 is partially true BUT don't say it around a true Texan on March 6 or April 21. |

Mike thanks for the warning. I will skip wasting time reading it. I also do not need to raise my blood pressure. Lol |
