Finished off the box of Orcs and two blisters this week:

At least 4 takeaways from this project:
1) If you are doing shields separately, be mindful of where you set the shield arm when assembling. I had positioned some where the model couldn't hold the shield as intended for lack of space.
2) Make sure you account for the banner itself before finalizing the banner arm and positioning on the base. I was happy with the pose, but found no model that could fit next to the banner side.
3) Doing transfers from Little Big Men Studios was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I will certainly do more of those in the future.
4) A little tan drybrush at the end can help build contrast after a particularly opaque speed paint layer.

Those look like proper Orcs. Great job!

Great Orcs and also great advice – especially about the banner! Learned that with a painful experience with those big big SYW flags when trying to base command stands when I have done up the flag bearers without thinking they would need to be next to other figs!

Nicely done figures. I feel your pain with the shield and standard placement. I've done it several times myself.

Prissy Orcs, not a spot of rust on their armor!
