I have these rules and I've played them a few times but not up to now an enjoyable expearience so not surge how l feel about them ….just wondered if any one else has experience of the rules particulary looking for encouraging reasons to continuing to strive to learn the rules.
Can't say l find it easy to decide which combat claim applies to who and when , sometimes even who has the clsim.
Down loaded QRF , is in very small print and cluttered , rules are without an index , but l feel that there's a decent set of rules out there , much less cluttered than MEG …have bought the rules , the dice everything really associated with the rules so don't want to waste the investment .

The combat claims consist of those applicable in the charge phase and those applicable in the combat phase. Both sides get the benefit of their own particular claims in each phase. It might be useful for you to look at the Mortem et Gloriam free intro pdf to get a grasp of the game engine which is substantially the same in both games.

The grammar still bugs me. It should be "Renationem et Gloriam"" or "Renatio et Gloria". It just doesn't seem right to mix noun cases like that.

Thanks Rittervonbek, that's helpful.

I put up.a couple of reports on this forum. I agree that the rules title grammar is meaningless. The rules themselves look promising but are hard work so far. I find them more approachable than Field of Glory but would like to see an index.

Thanks Bowen
I used to enjoy Field of Glory REN , a better game than the ancient version at the time, l have field of Glory REN at the back of my mind when l play R et G , it feels that it should be easy to play , l will seek out your reports on the forum.

Thanks

Jim
