Excellent painting – you have a real gift! I'm not sure that the Russians mounted their trumpeters on white horses. Will you be doing any Cossacks? I had to ask. |

Thank you guys for your kind comments ! Every reference I've found on the Internet shows trumpeters on grey horses, but that might be a common mistake like the white bearskin of the Grenadier à cheval. I don't plan to make Cossacks, I've already made a little diorama with three of them… but it was a looong time ago : link |
