Armoured car developed by Union Naval de Levante, Sagunto, Valencia towards 1937 for the Republican Army, maybe based on a british truck 'cause the drivers seat is at the right. Only two prototypes were built 1938. 1/72 resin model from Panzer Garage with decals from Black Lion. Hope you like it!

Wow, I really like it!

I wonder if someone has something like that for 1/100.

Excellent! That appears to be the actual painted example used on the Panzer Garage website – did you build and paint the other armoured trucks on their site too?

Hi Mike,

Yes, some of them as the Pamplona, Nash-Quad, Trubia, Schneider-Trubia Gun, Disguised Stug III, Sdkfz 304 Springer… Also some scenics as the Sigfrid Line stuff (Panthertürm, Road Bunker, MG Schurzen), Panzersperre Berlin 1945, M13 Bunker, Brunete 1937, Casa de Campo 1936, Spanish wall 1936, AA MG08 sandbagged position…
Cheers! Quino

..and an MTM-1 tiznao as Black Lion make decals for it! :)

Actually I have a 1/72 resin King Kong (Torras-2) from Bandera Miniatures that is no longer in production but it is in serious need of correction – the rear wheels are exposed when they should be covered by the armoured sides. Another project in waiting…

Bandera/RHModels offer the FAI in 1/72 still, but it is out of stock. I hope Rolf restocks.

Steelworks offers it in 1/72 as well, but it is too detail fiddly and expensive for my modeling skill and budget!

Between Minairons and Panzer Garage, I expect we will see both the Kig Kong and FAI someday in 1/72.

I got a FAI from ACE Models in the pipeline and is really cool but a 'slow assembly' plastic kit. :))

About King Kong I talked with Jorge from Panzer Garage and is on his mind to complete his Torras series.
Where can I get Brunete '37, Casa de Campo '36 and Spanish Wall '36?
You can find them in the online shop of panzergarage.com
Cheers! Quino
