Hey all, I'm looking for a generic space trooper firing a space rifle figure. I know there was that company that made the catgirls characters from Dominion Tank Police and Appleseed that had a 25mm space range, but I'm blanking on their name, and I'm sure the old WEG Star Wars figures probably have a generic space trooper. Suggestions? Just like a 40K2 Cadian with space rifle or Mobile Infantry guy from the first SST movie. Also looking for 1/48 scale random stowage; metal barrels, jerry cans and maybe ammo boxes. Same with animals; dogs, cats, mice, woodland creatures. There's a snail and a dog that come with Bretonnian set and Pegasus makes a set of farm animals. All the Reaper stuff seems a bit big. |

RoboGear
or whatever it is called nowadays. The trooper figures for the game are great generic scifi rifle guys. Hoard o' Bits has 'em at like 10 for $2. USD Good conversion fodder, too. |

will have to email Jon, figure out where the anime-inspired minis have disappeared to. I can't seem to find a listing for them at the GZG webshop. |

Hm, I though for sure, someone would have pointed out 1/48 scale is big, like heroclix figures and not tiny, like true 25mm figures. I'm going for a forced perspective thing. Thanks for the advice all. Denizen is the company that makes the catgirl and true 25mm sci-fi figures, and there's a few WEG Star Wars bounty hunters that might work as well. Lion in the Stars, the fact that GZG doesn't have a catalog is so aggravating, there's so much stuff I planned to order, now that I see what it's like and so much I'll never order, if I can't see a picture of it first. I know the guy doesn't make a ton of money but he could be making so much more if he just had some pics on his website. |

Oh, got an answer back from Jon@GZG. He still has the molds, but the anime-inspired minis have mostly been pulled from the store due to low sales. But he'll spin a few for you if you ask nicely. One catalog is here: PDF link and it has the Bubblegum Crisis, Deunan&Briareos, and the Dirty Pair minis listed, as well as the Mobile Suit Girls. I'm still looking for a catalog with the Panda-monium, Panda's Video Fighter, and Kawaii 5-0 listings. |
