Any recommendations on a range? I know Essex and Viking forge do one. Anything else, with a little more variety in pose? FMB |

Not that much variety in each pose, but there is Black Hat Miniatures which are the Gladiator lines - blackhat.co.uk/index.php Not sure if the Han are some of the original Metal Magic lines, which had some really nice figs in the Medieval Eastern European lines. Or Magister Militum - link I have a couple of their chariots and some cav as well as their Tibetans. Not bad, thinner than some, but reasonably proportioned. |

I second Black Hat. The only downside is each code has only one pose. I believe they are from the former Metal Magic line. Here are my own humble efforts. I mixed in some of their Chin Chinese for a little variety. link

Thanks for the tips. Anyone know how well the Essex / BH / Viking figs scale to each other? FMB |

Essex and BH are a fairly good match. The Essex horses are bigger but the infantry are similar. |

Essex have redone many of the Han range. I quite liked their original range but the new figures are quite good too. If you manage to get some of the originals second hand they will add some variety to the units. They do a quite extensive range of add ons (peasants and some tribal types). Some opf their Chin and Tang types fit in too as overlaps (I particularly like the Tang mounted general figure) LBM studios do some nice Han banners. |

My Han Chinese are Chariot miniatures
which are now sold by Magister Miliwotsit. They are very nice figures indeed. |

The Viking Forge has a range of 15mm Han Chinese. They are actually about 17mm. link
