They each come bundled with cards for about six different fighter/pilot combos, equipment upgrades, and the maneuver spinner. No surprise that the packs are $15 USD each, and typical of FFG using a lot of fancy custom components in their designs. None of it's really needed beyond maybe one of each pack. You want multiples of a given fighter mini, buy cheaper figs from other manufacturers or the secondary market, kitbash your own bases, and use a movement chart and plotting (or just face down counters) to replace the spinners. |

The fighters are the same cost as the Wings of Glory planes, so it was to be expected. |

for the price of many games today this isnt that bad for a good painted mini with all the tokens and stuff. Amazon has the box set for $31 USD i think.

The base game has a ship counter for a Senator's Shuttle, that would likely never get added to the line. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a ship that would make a good proxy for it? I'd rather have a ship if everything else on the board is not a coutnrer |

I picked up a copy and a bunch of boosters. The quality of the components are top notch. BTW, each booster is packaged in such a way that the inner components become standalone storage boxes with space for the fighter, the stand, and the ID cards. It's quite ingenious. So be careful cutting the packages open. Anyhow, I was only able to play a couple of one-on-ones with a minimum of extras and even at that, the game played quickly and felt very Star Warsish. I think it's a dang good game. |

How "close" is this game to Wings of War/Glory? Wasn't there a rumour that it was pretty much a copy with the manuver cards and such. |

Great game Damn rebels are tough . took out two ties and and advanced tiw ith 2 x wings . Crits work well and are a great equalizer |
