This is from the 2nd Annual Comedy Awards: Robin Williams, who was honored as a stand-up icon at the ceremony, revealed his passion for a less participatory pastime. "I collect military miniatures. I've never talked about that before," he told us. His collection includes different types, such as painted St. Petersburg miniatures. "There must be some blind Russian woman who went blind doing these little, tiny Louis XIV miniatures," Williams said. "They're wonderful. And I send them to Jonathan Winters, so we share that." The comic didn't specify how many he has, but says he avoids bidding at auctions. "[If] I'm bidding, then we'll get into Hoarders." link Lead addicts of the world, unite! |

Imagine Williams and Crystal doing voice acting for Ork Boss and Nobs, gretchin etc. If it's Williams, you'd have to follow it with "what the heck did you just say?" constantly

Back in 1992 he Robin Williams brought his son into the (former) Santa Monica, CA Games Workshop and I had the opportunity to trounce his flamboyantly fabulous Eldar with my Space Wolves. It had to be the most entertaining game of 40K I ever played. The shop manager told me that he came in from time to time and that Billy Williams had a Yiddish Space Ork army. |

In addition to serving as Historicon Guest of Honor, Robin Williams can also scream "Good Morning Vietnam!" at the start of one of Buck Surdu's 'Nam games. That I'd pay to see. |
