Ok, a bit of a subjective question really. But who do you think does the best Elemental Miniatures, fire, earth, air, water etc. If you can link a photo. Partly looking for inspiration, but also looking to see what styles are the most popular. |

Maybe it's a nostalgia thing, but I still love the old GW elementals:

I'm with Lovejoy. In 15mm, Reaper do a nice set of small elementals. |

Rakham The Fire, Air, and Light Elementals are the strongest IMO
I'm indifferent to the Water
Earth and Darkness are the most cliche, and therefore weakest IMO
The Familiars were quite nice as well: link

Not always elementals per se, but the Anima Tactics ranges have some fun models: Wind/air elemental:
light elemental:
Wrath of Nature:
Fire Demon:
And a japanese-style snow demon:

I really dig the Illyad Earth Elemental (pun!) I'd use it w/ the aforementioned Rakham ones.
although the Hell Dorado Golem is a close contender:

Here's a good grouping of the Reaper offerings:
Lesser elementals (two reaper, one rakham)

I too dig the Earth Elemental from Reaper that Volstagg recommended. (The first in the first photo.) The D&D Miniatures Range have some I like
Large Water Elemental (Blood Wars)
Large Fire Elemental (Desert of Desolation)
Loyal Earth Elemental
Thunderblast Cyclone

I don't know if it's the best, but I think this black orc games wind elemental link is pretty nice, it actually looks a bit better in the flesh, (that paint job makes it hard to make out the details, for instance it has no nose or mouth) and the fact that it's dirt cheap doesn't hurt either. |

Wehrmacht's image reminded me of the "Earth Titan" pre-paint. I like this one too.

Most all of those shown above are great, but for price and practicality in gaming the D&D plastics are hard to beat. I use a lot of them as spell markers, and they are tough, reasonably priced, and quite attractive. And come ready to use. |

The paint job on the small Reaper Water Elemental is amazing. |

There are some great suggestions there. Thank you. Some really differing styles too. I want to pick up a "set" of elementals eventually, and some of these are great. |

There is always sculpey, of course
I think even I could create something halfway decent. Of course, I also really enjoy the translucent effect on the air, water, and fire varieties. Less is more in this case, IMHO. |

I likw rthw simple ones the best. I dont see elementals having a lot of personality, so dont want them to look like sone odd charecter class. Owen |
