Hi,

Im a big fan of Oddzial Ozmy's 3mm 1/600 acw range, and have thousands of the things painted up now. I understand that they have Naps on the way in the near-ish future. Recently Ive been getting into the WSS and GNW, and it occured to me today that it would only take a few different strips to do the WSS and GNW in 3mm.

O8 uses 3d printing in a sort of hard, brittle alloy, which works very well in the scale. ive based and painted 7000 of the acw figs and I havent had even one broken bayonet, for instance, and only 5 or 6 that snapped off at the feet, and then only because I was chopping up the strips to make, command units and cut too clo to a fig with my snips. This is a very high quality product.

Anyways, I was wondering what the price might be to have someone sculpt/design in CAD a basic WSS range and then get it 3d printed a la O8. Im not sure if Id do this as a range to sell, or just as a personal project so I can do some of my more megalomaniacal projects. Id only need a handful of basic infantry and cav strips, plus arty and crew, and maybe some logistical/ baggage train type stuff. Im not exactly swimmingin dough, but I have a bit of money Id be willing to put into this if it wasnt too expensive. Id also not be opposed to selling them to cover costs, maybe sell them, through a website, although this would definitely not be a for profit venture, but basically just a way to get a product that currently does not exist.

Any advice, including good, companies to,work with, wouldbe appreciated.
Please pardon bad typing, Im using a tablet on here and its difficult, to,say the least…

Dont know the answer to be honest, but I would buy a load of them

Might be worth dropping an email to John at Pico to see what he thinks

I already did, haha. If we could get the sculptor on board I think itd be worth his money to invest in this. I mean, for the price of a medium sized 15mm army you could have 7000+ figs in an army ~$200.
