This little unit shows up at Hobkirk's Hill and saves the day at Eutaw Springs for the British. They sometimes referred to as as dragoons, as mounted infantry, as rifle dragoons. Sometimes they are considered part of the New York Volunteers, and at other times the South Carolina Royalists, both provincial units.

It's a unit I want to paint, but I haven't been able to locate any information on their dress, or solid information on their unit affiliation. Any help out there?

Thanks in advance.
K.

Col Inne's South carolina Royalist regiment was a legio nwith both infantry and cavalry . the had detachments at Hobkirk's hill, Charleston, sunbury, Savannah '79
Uniform for infantry was noted as red coats with yellow facings. White turnbacks and pants.
The mounted men or South Carolina Dragoons also had red coast and yellow facings. White turnbacks, pants and wiastcoats. headgear was the Lt Drgn cap.
