Nice game

Long out of Print

Even the usual poundland and TK MAxx type outles seem out of them, so I don't know how mych you will be able to get

There was even a Balrog in the range

They were not bad figures, mostly upscaled version of GW figures, STG was a partner of some sort.
I have quite a large number of them I might be persuaded to part with if you are interested?

There is a set with an ent which is really nice and can be used for other games. After all who knows if an ent is in scale or not.

From what I saw of this line was ready for the dust bin while still in the package.

Nice figures, no longer made but readily available on EBay. Too tall generally to use with GW LotR. Their Balrog and Sauron are spectacularly good, work with GW, and are already (well)painted! Both cheaper and already assembled & painted compared to GW. Both the GW figures and the "clickies" are based very closely on the Jackson movie masterpieces.

I have both lines and started with metal; if I had a choice now, I'd go with the plastic figures.

I have had great fun re-painting and basing them on GW 40mm round bases. Here is a link to my Blog and three sample miniatures.

I've quite a few of these. The Balrog is a great piece.

The game is quite nice, but I get more use from them as Heroscape figures (the LOTR bases are just the same size of hex as the board pieces), using the unit cards available from boardgamegeek.com . It should be noted that these stat cards probably don't mix well with the standard Heroscape ones (LOTR are expensive points wise).

One problem with ebay is that the game common pieces are still cheap enough to pick up but the hero figures have shot up in price as they have gone from "Dead game" to "Collectable – OOP".

If someone does have some of the LOTR TMG figures that they may want to sell I might have an interest. I found a website where they use these figures with Hero Scape tiles to make their battlefields. It was very interesting. You can also e-mail me at sanders6203 at sbcglobal dot net. I think you can figure out the e-mail addy. TIA!
