Hard to believe those are 6mm.

Shagnasty, these little fellas are a bit bigger than 6mm, they are from the 10mm range of (sadly defunct) Magister Militum.

10mm WWI Belgians? Have you seen Van Dyck minis?

Tom, I haven't seen the Van Dyck in the flesh but they are very nice miniatures. I nearly purchased their Minerva but it's a bit more of a delicate (and beautiful) model rather than a gaming piece. I found some 3D print models that I think will suit my needs.

Thanks for the link, I hadn't looked thru the Van Dyck catalog in quite some time. Their upcoming WW1 Africa range looks promising.

Always wanted to replay the real-life exploits of Lettow-Vorbeck as described by Byron Farwell. The raid to get a model T radiator to repair a British airplane with; the attack on a coastal town by Indians and the angry bee hives; and the British Naval Captain who ineptley received the VC for capturing the first German Ensign in combat! Great stories where reality is better than fiction! The Van Dyck figures are the ultimate in the 10mm scale! That Minerva AC is a gem and is better suited for display than as a gaming piece. Blew me away to see the engine when the bonnet is removed!

The main problem with the Van Dyck 10mm is that the ranges are never completed. The few WW1 packs he does are not enough to make any wargaming force with.
