My friends and I are using 1/285 for our Arab/Israeli conflicts.

1/300 Skytrex and Heroics when I was doing AIW back in the 80s. GHQ was for the rich kids :)

Peter Pig does some nice 15mm figures for Israelis and Arab / PLO types.

How are the Battlefront plastic tanks?

As I do Arab-Israeli 'What a Tanker' I just really need tanks, so I opted for 1:72, and got them from Revell, Plastic Soldier, Trumpeter, De Agostini etc

Battlefront does a lot in 15mm.

1/600 Pico Armor for my collection. That includes the ground units that can be used for a variety of rulesets and planes for Check your 6 Jet Age.

I will be doing my Arab-Israeli gaming in 1/285th scale. I plan to use Fistful of TOWs 3 as my initial set of rules for this.

Here are some of my Egyptian T-55s. The models are by GHQ.

TimePortal01 May 2024 1:28 p.m. PST

Iirc Quality Castings, sold by 19th Century used to have them in 15mm.

I like 15mm. I can see the infantry and the tanks are not outrageously large, plus between Old Glory and Battlefront I have enough variety.

All my AiW stuff is 6mm. A mix of Heroics, Scotia and Mainforce. I've had it all for years and tbh it doesnt get used much these days.

@Leon very nice. I have some of your WW1 stuff and am thinking of getting FPW. What's the best way to get Pendraken in the USA?

Irish Marine02 May 2024 9:53 a.m. PST

Badger Games bought Mongrel miniatures and there is s Israeli 28mm figures for 1980's, they can also stand in for South Africans for the 80's.

@Kuznetsov:

There's a couple of options, Dark Horse Hobbies are stocking a variety of our ranges and can order in for you: darkhorsehobbies.com

Or you can order direct from us in the UK: pendraken.co.uk
