"The Pledge April 2024" Topic

A third of the way through the year. I've been focused on painting. I did order some more 10mm figures from Pendraken despite saying I would paint what I had first. This will help with getting the forces balanced and looking as I wanted them to. They'll arrive in May. I have a fair number of figures painted but not yet based.

Painting was down this month, not sure why. But I am getting to the bottom of the pile almost have everything primed or ready to prime. Might be painting ships this summer. Did complete another army( Confederation of the Rhine).

Well, I got 19 figures painted in April. Things might have gone better, but it was the season for filing income tax, which I did wrong, and then had to file an amendment.

On the bright side, I do get a nice income tax refund. Also, I did not buy any figures this month, so my totals for the year are:

Not so good as I fantasized at the beginning of the year, but I am digging myself out of the hole I got into by purchasing all those figures in February.
