Interesting work, but not all colors for coloring the photo were chosen correctly (although it's hard to blame the artist for this – it's beyond his knowledge).
For example, in the photo showing Lenin and Stalin, Lenin is wearing a British soldier's jacket and, accordingly, it should have a different color.

Cuprum2, Trotski is standing near Lenin in the photo, not Stalin. In fact m, I believe this is one of the many photos Stalin later ordered to be altered to remove the image of his greatest rival from proximity to Lenin.

Interesting topic, thanks for posting. But "Russia's Dark Days"? Yes, very grim but if these were the dark days, how would you describe what was to come under Stalin?

I wasn't aware that Russia ever had anything but dark days.
