Personally, I wish I could get more of the Renegade WW1 range. I'm also sad that JR/Novus has closed up shop. Dom's decals also comes to mind. What else do you miss?

cavcrazy13 Apr 2024 3:46 p.m. PST

Frontier miniatures, their Zulu wars range was really nice…you know before they let the moulds go downhill.

14Bore13 Apr 2024 4:00 p.m. PST

Not exactly sure name, either Heritage or Napolonets, but have a few units made of them, real 15mm and fantastic figures

Legio Heroica, need to complete my crusades collection.

Without a doubt. Barony Miniatures.

If I still did 15mm, Mike's Models. Wonderful little Hogarth prints of 18th Century figures.

If I could only pick one, Heritage: Napoleonettes and Confederettes. Or the 25mm John Carter of Mars line. Am I wrong in thinking the original LOTR line was theirs, too?

Still a place in my heart for the long-OOP 40K Squats, but, sadly GW is still alive. Same problem with Scrunts and Eureka teddy bears. The companies remain, but the line is gone.

Who did the old "Armies of the Hyborean Age" line?

myxemail13 Apr 2024 5:00 p.m. PST

I really miss Dragon Tooth miniatures

Mage Knight, for fantasy armies.

Ral Partha AD&D minis (too poor at the time, not into fantasy wargaming at the time).

Grenadier, same as Ral Partha, circa 1980's. Cheers!

ron skirmisher13 Apr 2024 7:04 p.m. PST

Frontier Miniatures, their Alamo & Mexican War range where the Best, and they made their Plains Indians so detailed you
could tell the tribes apart.

ron skirmisher13 Apr 2024 7:06 p.m. PST

Frontier Miniatures 25mm, Yes a little on the " true" 25mm scale, but we liked them.

Frontier Miniatures 15mm as well as the 25mms

TimePortal13 Apr 2024 7:47 p.m. PST

Ral Parthia Colonial range.
This is one of several. I sold Frontier 15mm for a year or so.
The Falcon miniature ranges.
The Heritage Napoleonic which later became Empire. Never liked the smallish ACW range.

Robert – Mike's Models are not OOP, Essex still cast them to order

Martian Metals (Rivets minis)

Kuznetsov check out Noble Knights. A few months ago I sold them some new in the blister Renegade WWI figures. I decided to go 15mm instead.

Dragontooth Miniatures, especially their Saurian and Amphibian ranges.
I also miss the old American Minifigs. I know I can still order from the UK, but it was a lot easier when their was a caster in the USA.

Am I correctly informed that Parroom Station is back in production? If not, they'd go on the list.

Battlefield's 20mm WW2 stuff….

Wildman14 Apr 2024 7:57 a.m. PST

Martian Metals, the Traveller miniatures.
T-Rex, I always wanted the Interconteniental Siege Machine.

Wildman14 Apr 2024 8:09 a.m. PST

Ral Partha Legacy is producing the Parroom Station miniatures.

TimePortal14 Apr 2024 8:38 a.m. PST

Martian Metals for about a year was produced by Zocchi Distributors aka Gamescience.
Though I enjoyed flipping and clipping on the pseudo Star Wars range with Bunny Troopers, my favorite was the Lord of the Rings style 15mm. He used historical troops for the castings. For example the Rohan troops were Normans and the Arab troops were the Southerners.

Texaswalker14 Apr 2024 8:57 a.m. PST

FusilierDan and piepenbrink,
Both Ral Partha Colonial and Parroom Station appear to be available at same place: Ral Partha Legacy. I have not ordered from them, so cannot validate their availability.

Grenadier.

Kuznetsov14 Apr 2024 9:08 a.m. PST

mmm, grenadier Twilight: 2000 minis would be good too, without paying OOP prices.

Kuznetsov14 Apr 2024 9:10 a.m. PST

@Old Contemptible thanks for the tip, but they were out of stock. I cracked an old blister I had and there was no flash/mold lines and I remembered how great that was, which was what triggered this thread.

Brigade Games, Great War, et al., still make awesome figs, but I did enjoy the Renegade range.

Son of MOOG14 Apr 2024 9:17 a.m. PST

Another vote for Frontier miniatures (15mm), also Falcon from Th Quartermaster (15mm).

Kuznetsov14 Apr 2024 9:36 a.m. PST

Honorable mention: legions east miniatures

They seemed short lived and I never got to try them, but what I did see looked nice.

Definitely Frontier Miniatures, but also most everything from The London War Room.

Frontier Miniatures – Have a few FPW miniatures and 1 Prussian limber set w/crew and 4 horses. True 25mm, just add a little height to base and they look ok in different units.

Dagwood14 Apr 2024 11:38 a.m. PST

Well, since Lamming are available again, it must be the old Crusader Miniatures (a different Crusader Miniatures from the current Crusader Miniatures, I believe). With their lovely Welsh figures, that I didn't buy enough of …

Combat Wombat resin minis.

Antenoceti's gorgeous cyberpunk and Infinity stuff.

The easy-access Old Crow. I know you can email him and get
custom bits done, but the website was much easier.

As for me, I miss Der Kreigspielers/Hinton Hunt.

Falcon Figures UK, Jeff Valent, Musket Miniatures, Frontier – all come to mind. Outpost Wargame Services were awesome as well! I'm using their FPW 15s for my 1st Schleswig-Holstein War Germans (along with QRF and Eureka).

K & L were great! Haven't thought about them in decades! Iron Brigade had some great WW2 minis (if I'm thinking of the right company. Weren't they the ones who produced the 13th SS 'Handschar' minis?)

The Last Conformist21 Apr 2024 2:17 a.m. PST

Legio Heroica.

Also the Chariot range, which I dearly hope MM succeeds in selling to someone who brings them back into production.
